BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

How do I book a retreat?

You can book your spot directly through our website. Just choose your retreat, select your room type (shared or private), and follow the prompts to secure your place. Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email, followed by access to a guest portal.

Are flights included in the retreat price?

Flights are not included in the retreat package. This gives you the freedom to book flights that suit your location, budget and schedule. We provide clear guidance on which airport to fly into and the best way to get there.

Do you offer payment plans?

We sure do! We have quite a few flexible options to break up your payments in a way that works for you. The earlier you book, the longer you have to split the payments up. You’ll see the available payment plans on each retreat page when you click the ‘book’ button.
Afterpay or Zip Pay are also available (great if you’re the spontaneous type and book fairly close to the retreat).

What happens if I can no longer attend my retreat or COVID happens again?

Our cancellation policy and all the nitty-gritty details are covered in our Terms & Conditions. Check them out here

Location

Travel & Logistics

Which airport do I fly into?

If your chosen retreat is in Bingin (Bali), you’ll fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (aka Denpasar Airport – DPS).
If your retreat is in Lombok, you’ll also fly into Denpasar Airport and then catch a short (30-minute) domestic flight over to Lombok International Airport (LOP).
There are currently two airlines that fly between Bali and Lombok – Wings and TransNusa.
(We strongly advise our Lombok guests to fly over instead of taking the ferry, as the Lombok Straight is known for strong, unpredictable tidal currents.)
You’ll also receive this information in your retreat guide once you’re booked, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving the day before Day 1 so you can settle in, recover from travel, and start the retreat feeling relaxed. It also allows a buffer for any flight delays.
You can book this extra night directly with the retreat hotel, or email us and we’ll happily recommend beautiful villas and hotels nearby.

How do I get from the airport to the retreat accommodation?

Airport transfers are included in your retreat package if you’re arriving on the official retreat start date or the day before. Our amazing drivers will meet you at the airport and take you directly to the retreat accommodation, so you don’t need to organise transport yourself.

What documents do I need to travel?

You’ll need a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity (so make sure you’ve checked this in advance), as well as an e-visa & Arrival Card. Tourists to Bali are also required to pay a tourist levy (even if you’re just passing through to Lombok).
We’ll make sure you’ve got all the info you need in the lead-up to your trip so it’s nice and easy for you.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, travel insurance is required for all guests. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Will you help me with booking flights and preparing for the trip?

You’ll receive clear instructions on flights, packing, and what to expect before you go. And if you’re unsure about anything, you can always reach out in the lead-up to your trip.

You & Your Group

Do people usually come on retreat alone?

Yes! The majority of women come alone. If that makes you a little nervous, that’s normal. You’ll make friends faster than you expect. Many of our guests still catch up long after their retreat (and we love to see it!)

How does sharing a room or bungalow work?

Shared accommodation looks slightly different depending on the retreat hotel.
At our Bingin (Bali) property, Gypsea, twin beds aren’t available, so shared rooms feature a king bed. Most Lombok retreats offer twin-share rooms (with limited availability).
Many women arrive solo and choose the shared option. We take great care in matching roomies, considering personalities, lifestyles, and energy to ensure the best possible fit (and so often see amazing friendships come out of it!).
Each retreat page clearly outlines room types. If you’re unsure, please reach out.

What is the typical age range of guests?

While each retreat has its own energy, our guests typically span from their 20s to their 60s – united less by age and more by mindset.

What is the minimum age to attend a retreat?

All PE Retreats are for adults only. The minimum age is 18, and some retreats are specifically designed for certain age groups (such as our 50+ retreat).

How many people are usually on each retreat?

Group sizes vary depending on the retreat, but they’re always kept small enough to feel personal and connected.

I have dietary requirements – can you cater for me?

Definitely. We cater for most dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free). You’ll be asked about this when you book so we can let the hotel and venues know in advance.

Will there be photos or videos taken during the retreat?

Yes, but always thoughtfully and respectfully.
It’s no secret we love social media (you probably found us there too!).
We love capturing the energy of retreat life so that a) we can look back on the memories and b) future guests can see what it’s really like. This may include workouts, social moments and relaxed check-ins.
You will never be shared in an unflattering or vulnerable moment. If you’d prefer not to appear on social media at any time, just let us know; your comfort always comes first.
All guests will receive a retreat photo package of all the good times.

MOVEMENT & ACTIVITIES

What level of fitness do I need to attend a retreat?

You don’t need to be super fit, just open to moving your body in a way that feels good for you. Each retreat lists the movement style and pace so you can choose what suits you best, but everything is adaptable.

Do I have to take part in every session?

Our retreats are designed as shared experiences, and we really encourage you to take part in the sessions and activities – that’s where the connection, growth and fun happens.

Of course, you always know your own body best, and if you need a rest at any point, that’s okay. But if you’re looking for a retreat where you can dip in and out of everything freely, Wellness Week might be a better fit for you, as it has a choose-your-own-adventure structure.

How much free time will I have?

Plenty. Our retreats are designed with a balance of structure and space. Part itinerary, part freedom. You’ll have organised sessions alongside free time to swim, nap, explore, or simply relax.

What does a typical day on retreat look like?

Each day usually includes some form of movement, shared meals, and free time. There may also be workshops, local experiences or social events depending on the retreat.

What kinds of movement and activities are included?

This depends on the retreat you choose. Activities can include Pilates, strength training, boxing, padel, walking, yoga, surfing, cooking, volleyball, mindfulness sessions and local cultural experiences. Each retreat page lists exactly what’s included.

How do I get from the airport to the retreat hotel?

With our trusty & reliable drivers!

They’ll be there to pick you up. Just look for the PE Retreats sign.
