Meet Ally
I was definitely feeling some mixed emotions before I arrived at PE retreats in Bingin Beach. Nervousness with a mix of fear, excitement and anticipation. My goodness I am so glad I didn’t let the fact that I was coming in solo stop me.
My budget meant I couldn’t make a private bungalow work and in hindsight, I am so glad!
Lauren assured me that my roommate was an amazing woman, which helped my nerves subside. I took the plunge and gained an absolute treasure in Caz. We made an instant connection and became even closer throughout the retreat.
Since then Caz, Tully, Em and myself, two other angels from the retreat have formed a strong bond. We regularly talk and catch up, always reminiscing on our incredible experience in Bali at PE Retreats.
I absolutely recommend stepping outside of your comfort zone, you will not be alone… and you will not regret it!

PE Retreats is so well organised and the vibe is high!
It was the perfect solution to avoid excessive burnout from work and getting away from that nasty Melbourne winter 🥶. Prior to signing up I had all the classic thoughts of, I’m too busy for a holiday and I’m not fit enough for a week of workouts. It was exactly what I needed and I’m so happy with my past self for saying yes!
Before attending the Move+ retreat I had begun to rebuild the body after a few setbacks with injury and mobility. The trainers Mike, Leo and Talitha were awesome! They are attentive and versatile, making a huge effort to make sure that everyone is working through good form and providing individual variations where needed. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I’ve had some great coaches over my life and these guys are elite.
The accommodation at Gypsy was great, it’s very comfortable and private when you want it to be. The central pool was a busy hangout for the team giving us all a chance to get to know each other between workouts while we worked on our tans. The group of guests were really fun and open minded. There’s plenty of delicious fresh, healthy food on offer coming out of the kitchen at Gypsy, double meals are allowed!
The social events were great fun, the venues were amazing. Loz has really done her homework so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Since the retreat I’m now back to being at the gym 3-4 days a week, implementing a running program and recently started back doing some boxing as well. My energy is higher and I’m dealing with stress so much easier.

I signed up for the June 2023 “Breathe” PE Retreat after going through a breakup. I was lost, heartbroken and in a pretty dark place.
An #eatpraylove trip to beautiful Bali seemed like the perfect anecdote and I couldn’t have made a better decision for myself.
The retreat was quite literally life-changing. And I mean that. It has changed me and my life for the better. In a million and one ways!
From the moment I checked into the stunning Gypsea Bali and met a few of the girls on night 1 I knew I was in for a special week.
The launch party was the perfect chance to meet the other amazing women, ranging in age from 25 to 66, most of whom had come alone. (The BEST way to do a PE Retreat, trust me!) Loz and the other coaches, Maggie, Tash and Kaitlyn were incredibly warm and welcoming from the outset, by the end of the night we all felt like old friends.
The training sessions were different every day and catered to everyone’s different fitness levels whether you were trying to get back into a routine or a total gym bunny.
We mixed it up by checking out some of Bingin’s best gyms and the early morning beach session was maybe my favourite- with fun team games and a bit of healthy competition between new friends. Mags and Tash are amazing at keeping everyone smiling and pushing themselves to new PB’s.
Kaitlyn lead our daily mindfulness sessions each based on that day’s theme, be it vulnerability, forgiveness, connection etc.
These sessions allowed us to dig a little deeper, look inward, take some time out for ourselves and Kaitlyn was amazing at creating a safe and welcoming space for us to share and hold space for one another.
I don’t think I’d be alone in saying I had more personal breakthroughs in these sessions than I have in YEARS of therapy.
I left the PE Retreat an entirely different person to the one I was when I checked in. I was lighter, happier… I had remembered who I was, my self-worth… I felt loved, seen, heard, and supported. Refocused. Fit. Healthy. Refreshed.
Perhaps more importantly- I had 22 new friends for life.
I could not recommend PE Retreats more highly. I had the time of my life and I can’t wait to do it all again at the next retreat.

Meet Bob
Attending the Move + PE retreat in Bali was the perfect escape from Melbourne’s cold winter. I was craving sunshine, and Bali delivered with its stunning weather and vibrant atmosphere. The workouts were a real highlight—especially the strength training sessions, which pushed me to my limits in the best way possible. The padel game was also so much fun; it added a competitive yet relaxed vibe to the retreat.
What made it even better was the balance between hard work and relaxation. There was just the right mix of intense workouts and letting loose at the social events in the evening.
The people on the retreat were fantastic, and there was zero drama—just a group of like-minded individuals having an amazing time together.
I was a bit apprehensive at first, not knowing what to expect, but I’m so glad I went. It turned out to be such a fulfilling experience, both physically and socially. I left feeling energized and happy, and I’d absolutely do another retreat in the future!
